| Many of us have a strong tendency to create God in our own image. To treat Jesus like a plastic figure who we carry with us for good luck - who is there to be about our business – to meet our needs - To go where we want to go. But this is not the real Jesus. The Jesus we see in the Gospel of Mark has a reality outside of our own. This Jesus can confront us, heal us, and transform us and the world as he calls us to follow him. In the series we are studying the Gospel of Mark to get to know the real Jesus. The one who invites us all to follow. | ||
