Jim Fenske
Jim Fenske, a graduate of Concordia Chicago is Community of Hope’s Teaching Minister. He also teaches English and Religion at Lutheran High School West in Rocky River. He directs the Saturday Worship Service and his wife Nancy heads the Saturday Children’s Program. Jim and Nancy have five grown children and reside in Westlake. Jim has been a part in Community of Hope since 2001.
1. What do you like about COH: The fast moving services, the loving people, the music, and the fact that the Bible has authority in our church.
2. Favorite Music: I don’t listen to a lot of music these days, but I always have music from church in my head.
3. Favorite TV Shows: Pardon the Interruption and Cleveland Indians Baseball
4. Favorite Book: Fear No Evil by Natan Sharansky or Witness by Whittaker Chambers
5.Last Book you read: Night of the Gun by David Carr
6.Hobbies: Reading, Hiking, Biking
7. Favorite Bible Verse: JN 8: 31-32
8. Place you would like to go someday: Any quiet fresh-water lake
9.Something you would like to do before you die: Have a lot of grandchildren who love the Lord
10. Places you've traveled outside the US: Niagara Falls
